Kathleen Twitchell passed away on the evening of December 6, 2022. She was 84 years young.
Kathy was born on April 16, 1938, to Hugh and Beulah Campbell in Moab. She had one brother, Earnest. They lived in Thompson, Utah. In 1954, she married Joseph Twitchell and they moved to Moab, where they raised five children: Sanna (Weaver), Joe, Barbara (Alexander), Terrie (Greenhalgh), and Steven.
She graduated from Grand County High School in 1956.
She spent her early career waitressing but soon found her passion in selling Avon. She absolutely loved selling Avon and all of her wonderful customers with whom she became very close. She had such a love for her customers, she continued to sell Avon until 2021. She loved bowling, golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and trying her luck on the slots.
Kathy was overflowing with kindness, love, and compassion. She loved her family, her customers, and all of her friends from bowling, golfing, and the senior center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe; daughters, Sanna and Barbara; and two grandchildren, Nathan and Lloyd.
She is survived by two sons, Joe and Steven; one daughter, Terrie; and twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
At Kathleen’s request, cremation has taken place. Her family is respecting her wishes and there will be no services at this time.
