The award-winning Moab Sun News is celebrating 10 years of independent, community-based journalism, serving as the source for local news and the stories of Moab, Grand County and the wider Four Corners region.

We distribute our news through our weekly print edition, email newsletters, our website and social media channels.

The Moab Sun News focuses on explanatory reporting, in-depth features on life in Moab and local announcements to empower, inform and celebrate Grand County and the surrounding area.

We are committed to helping residents get involved locally through civic engagement, publicizing events and promoting an inclusive and passionate community. Our journalism responds to your questions and priorities and our community’s pressing needs.

We also collaborate with other news outlets and organizations to produce or promote interesting content and meaningful news stories that have an impact on our local communities, including KZMU Community Radio, Science Moab, The Moab Museum, the Grand County Public Library, the Utah News Collaborative, High Country News, Writers on the Range, and the Corner Post.
