Gallery: The last few games of the fall season; senior recognition

Tennis

On September 30 and October 6, the GCHS girls tennis team competed in the state tournament in Mt. Pleasant and Salt Lake City. First singles, Third singles, First doubles, and Second doubles teams all lost in the first round. Second singles player Ruby McGowan advanced to the second round, then lost in quarter finals.

Football

The varsity football team faced the Emery Spartans on October 6, ultimately losing the game 55-14. It was also the team’s “senior game”; seniors from the football team and marching band were celebrated. [Jason Strother, jsmedia.io / Moab Sun News]

Soccer

The varsity soccer team won its home conference game on October 5 versus the San Juan Broncos by a score of 6-0. The game also celebrated its senior players! [Jason Strother, jsmedia.io / Moab Sun News]
