On July 10, 2023, Moab lost a local friend when Shad Swink passed away in a climbing accident.
Shad was born in Moab to Don Swink and Judy Jeffries (Poteet). Shad enjoyed growing up in Moab with his brother and sister. Shad had three wonderful children, two boys and a girl. He loved the outdoors and the people he would meet along the way. Shad sure will be missed by his family, many friends, and everyone who knew him, even briefly.
Join us for a celebration of his life on Friday, July 28 at Old City Park from 4 to 6 p.m. Bring a potluck dish or just stop in and share stories with us.
