Honoring Ingrid Payne and Kip Sevenoff, Grand County High School’s November Students of the Month

Congratulations to the Grand County High School students of the month, Ingrid Payne and Kip Sevenoff.

Ingrid Payne is a senior at GCHS and the child of Silvia and Andrew Payne. Her passion is art, and she values that her AP art classes give her the time and freedom to work on art every day. Ingrid is the president of the Art Club and is starting a Fiber Arts club with Ms. Moore. She’s also a member of the Honor Society, the volleyball and tennis team, the theatre group and a Sterling Scholar nominee. “I’ve learned that sticking to what you love to do instead of what you think will bring you success will make you happier in the long run, and having confidence and compassion for yourself and others will always push you towards the right path,” Ingrid says.

Kip Sevenoff, the son of Mark and Ashley Sevenoff, is also a senior this year and enjoys art, particularly his classes in photography and digital media. Kip is a committed member of the Red Devils Mountain Bike team and the soccer team, having participated through all four years of high school and working to mentor younger students in the sports. Kip plans on going to college in the fall. “Find something that makes you really happy and pursue it,” said Kip. “Also don’t forget to go outside.”

Congrats, Red Devils!
