Cosmo’s Corner: The Cosmo Calendar

Cosmo pictured with one of his calendars. He looks proud of himself!

Meow and hello to my adoring public. Cosmo the Library Cat here with very exciting news! The Friends of the Library have just released a special edition booklet featuring 12 color pictures of me!

The front cover reads “2023” and each picture of me appears opposite a blank 7 x 4 grid. This unusual publication is apparently called a “calendar” and I’m told that humans find them very useful for keeping track of holidays, like pets’ birthdays, and dentist appointments and the like.  I’ve never been a big fan of making or keeping appointments and I’ve never felt a particular need to know what day it is, but I can see how a calendar would help you if you value those things!

Admittedly I’m no expert on calendars, but I can see at a glance that this one is quite special. It’s spiral-bound and printed on glossy, heavyweight cardstock, and each month you’ll be treated to a new picture of yours truly. I’m hard-pressed to pick a favorite, but I have to say my whiskers look particularly elegant in the April photo. The calendar is available just in time for the holiday season and it’s the perfect gift for both types of humans: Cosmo fans and future Cosmo fans.

Calendars are available at the Grand County Public Library circulation desk, and all proceeds go to support the library. Meow for now, friends!
