Grand County Red Devils excel at Pine View Invite

The Grand County Red Devils Track and Field team delivered outstanding performances at the Pine
View Invite in St. George. Cadence Kasprick stole the spotlight with a second-place finish in the women’s
800m, clocking a remarkable time of 2:11.04—a massive PR and a new school record, trailing the state
record by just 0.3 seconds.

Several other team members secured qualifications for the state championships: Aiden Gordon (110m
hurdles), Ainsleigh Kasprick (1600m run), Ammon Jackman (400m run), Elliet Johnson-Trim, Gemma
Phillips, and Mackenzie Mayer (3200m run), as well as River Shaw (3200m run). Both the boys’ and girls’
4x400m relay teams also earned their spots in the state championships. The Pine View Invite showcased the Grand County Red Devils’ talent and determination, setting the stage for further success as they prepare for the state championships.
