In a rain-soaked showdown, Grand County triumphed 2-1 over Draper in a game that tested the players’ mettle and resilience. Starting with a scoreless first half, Draper struck first in the second half, but Grand quickly leveled and surged ahead with a penalty kick by Mia McKay.
With only 25 minutes remaining, a lightning delay added to the drama. Despite persistent rain upon the game’s restart, Grand County held firm to secure a 2-1 victory.
