Schools: Congratulations to Milo Smith and Conner Prickett!

Meet the MLHMS September students of the month

The 7th grade Student of the Month is Milo Smith!

He is thoughtful and engaged in all parts of school, whether in the classroom while contributing to class discussions or out on the field during sports. He is kind and helpful and cares a lot about his learning. He helps out around the school without ever being asked, often seen clearing up equipment after recess or holding doors for others. Milo is a great role model and his easy-going nature makes him great to work with!

He likes playing basketball and soccer in his free time, and hanging out with friends and visiting Florida when he gets a chance. His favorite food is Shepherd’s Pie and he does not like pizza! Milo’s advice to his classmates is, “Always help and always do good things, even if nobody is watching!” Nice work, Milo!

The 8th grade Student of the Month is Conner Prickett!

Conner is a dedicated student and a good example to his peers. He treats people with respect and does all the little things that improve the culture of the classroom: sharing supplies, holding doors, helping a classmate get caught up on an assignment. Conner is conscientious about his work and puts in the effort not only to complete his assignments, but learn from them. He quietly goes about getting his work done and also contributes in class discussions.

Conner’s favorite sport is baseball and he also likes mountain biking. He enjoys building computers and he wants to learn how to fly someday. Conner’s favorite place is Roatan, Honduras. His advice to his classmates is “Be kind and never give up!” Congratulations, Conner!
