Helen M. Knight Elementary’s mayor-picked Student of the Month for February is Ean Ellis.
Ean is a sixth-grade student in Mrs. Nichols’ class. Ean is the son of Ryan and Britnie Ellis.
“I would like to nominate Ean Ellis for HMK Student of the Month,” Nichols said. “Ean always enters the classroom with a cheerful attitude and smile. He is enthusiastic about learning and is genuinely interested in each subject.”
Nichols said Ean’s kindhearted actions toward his peers is wonderful to see.
“Ean readily volunteers to help teachers and students without being asked. Ean is a great role model for other sixth graders,” Nichols said.
