Dear Editor:
I am extremely concerned with the railway study and discussion proposed on [the Community Impact Fund Board (CIB)] agenda (on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Red Cliffs Lodge).
This (Seven County Infrastructure Coalition, Uintah Basin Railway Study – Environmental and Analysis, $27.9 million) is obviously a huge amount of monies to take from all rural areas for one project.
I would greatly hope that time and money would be spent instead on transitioning away from fossil fuels. We cannot afford this.
