Dear Editor,
On Monday, September 24, at Star Hall from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Grand County League of Women Voters will host our 38th annual candidate forum featuring races for Grand County Council, Grand County Attorney and Grand County School District Board. Â In addition, we will cover information on November ballot initiatives, including the ballot question for HB224.
In preparation for the forum, we are asking you to submit a question(s) that you would like considered for the moderator to ask the candidates. Your question(s) can be directed at any of the following candidates: county council, county attorney and/or school board.
Community submissions will be the basis for those questions drawn at random by the moderator at the forum. All questions will be edited using a newly developed League of Women Voters resource called, “Are Your Voters’ Guide Questions as Unbiased as You Think?” Â

Please submit your questions between Sept. 1 and Sept. 15 by dropping them in the LWV box located at the Grand County Public Library (ask at the front desk).
