An employee of Horrocks Engineers, based in Salt Lake City, installed traffic cameras on June 5 along Main Street. One camera was placed at 200 North and Main Street, and a second camera was installed at 400 North and Main Street. The employee said the cameras will monitor traffic 24/7, and said the purpose of the cameras is to study whether or not Utah Department of Transportation needs to install traffic lights at those intersections.
