Moab Mayor Emily Niehaus (right) honored AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers J.D. McClanahan of the Grand County Community and Economic Development Department (left), Claire Spalding of Community Rebuilds, Margaret Jala of the Moab Free Health Clinic and Zoe Huston of the clinic during the Moab City Council’s meeting on Tuesday, April 10. The mayor also declared April as VISTA Appreciation Month in Moab, and thanked other volunteers for the work they do in the community.
