The Moab Sea Devils placed second at the meet in Price on July 6. The combined scores for both girl and boy swimmers was 1215, as compared to the Castle Valley Barracudas that scored in at 1697. Moab girls had a total of 674, compared to Castle Valley girls with 780. Moab boys had a scored of 319, compared to Castle Valley’s 655.
In relay events Moab placed first in three races.
In the mixed ages 11 to 12 years old medley relay, Moab placed first. Cedar English, Aspen English, London Richards and Kane Scherer worked together for a total time of 3:04.50.
In the ages 9 to 10 years old freestyle relay Moab placed first with swimmers Zoe Kosa, Anika Scherer, Indy Richards and Emree Olsen swimming a total of 1:27:03.
In the 11 to 12 years old freestyle relay, Moab placed first with London Richards, Kane Scherer, Aspen English and Cedar English setting the pace with 2:44.72.
London Richards took first place in six races. She placed first in the 11 to 12 year old 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 41.41. She also placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 33.19. She placed first in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 44.73. She placed 100-yard IM with a time of 1:27.78. She placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:31.79. She placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:17.76.
Nicholas Hren placed first in five races. In the boys ages 7 to 8 years old with a time of 31.66. He also placed first in the 25-yard freestyle with a time of 24.22. He placed first in the boys ages 8 and under 100-yard IM with a time of 2:07.71. He placed first in the 25-yard backstroke with a time of 27.47. he placed first in the boys 8 and under 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.60. He placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 56.72.
C.J. Hren placed first in three races. In the boys ages 15 to 18 years old 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:28.46. He also placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.96. He placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:10.82.
Indy Richards placed first in three races. In the girls ages 7 to 8 years old 25-yard butterfly with a time of 26.04. She placed first in the 100-yard IM with a time of 2:04.79. She placed first in the girls 8 and under 50-yard freestyle.
Rhiannon Hren placed first in two races. In the ages 7 to 8 years old 25-yard breaststroke with a time of 28.92. She placed first in the girls ages 8 and under 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.03.
Emree Olsen placed first in two races. In the girls ages 9 to 10 25-yard freestyle with a time of 19.55. She placed first in the 25-yard backstroke with a time of 22.39.
Jaydan Olsen placed first in two races. In the boys ages 15 to 18 years old 50-yard butterfly with a time of 45.29. He placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 3:44.90.
River Richards placed first in the girls ages 13 to 14 years old 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:26.77.
Cedar English placed first in the boys ages 9 to 10 50-yard freestyle with a time of 41.15.
