Charlotte June Zufelt, 76, passed away at Moab Regional Hospital on Nov. 16, 2012.
Charlotte was born June 25, 1937 in Mesa, Arizona to William and Hazel Reynolds Reed. She was born to a large family with 12 brothers and sisters. She married Lynn Zufelt March 26, 1955. They moved around for a while and then settled in Moab.
She loved Lynn and he loved her, and they raised three good kids. They were taught to respect and love.
Charlotte nurtured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a phenomenal cook, especially of desserts. The neighbor ladies spent all day Wednesday in her kitchen eating fresh baked bread and pastries! She also dabbled in needlework
She is survived by two daughters Rhonda Risenhoover of Moab and Vicki Reel of Newberg, Ore; a son Bo Zufelt of Moab; two brothers David Reed of Nucla, Colo., and Doug Reed of Rathdrum, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn, and her parents, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 21 at the Moab LDS Stake Center.
