The Moab Information Center and Canyonlands Natural History Association will host Eric Trenbeath, an avalanche forecaster for hte Utah Avalanche Center, for a lecture titled, “Avalanches in the Desert? A Wintery Look at Southeast Utah’s La Sal Mountains.”

The Moab Information Center and Canyonlands Natural History Association will host Kat Connelly, a ranger with the National Park Service, to deliver a lecture titled “Focusing the Lens on the Parks.” The lecture will discuss how photography played a role in influencing the designation of Arches and Canyonlands.
