Sean Gaskell features songs on the kora - a 21 string West African harp. Sean studied extensively under master kora musicians in Gambia and Senegal and works to preserve the heritage and culture of this melodic instrument. Outdoors in the Moab Library Courtyard.
Local historian Dave Vaughn will share photos detailing his many adventures exploring and documenting the Moab area with Jack Bickers. A giant among local backcountry explorers, Bickers authored numerous guide books and articles on the Moab area backcountry, photographing and documenting its splendid vistas, hikes and jeeping challenges.
