Public Art Show of Portraits of Moab: A Gathering
June 27 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A Gathering is a collaborative public arts project funded by the 2024 Moab Arts Public Art Grant and aims to celebrate the various identities and shared humanity of those who reside in the Moab valley, traditional and ancestral lands of the Ute + Ancestral Pueblo people, and call the desert home. It involves collecting portraits to be displayed within a broader mixed media installation, opening June 27th at the MARC. All participants are encouraged to attend as a larger celebration of community!
The portraits will be displayed in June & July of 2024 in the Moab Arts Center Foyer Gallery as part of a mixed media show.
All participants and viewers are invited to the opening to partake in a celebration of community!
