Moab’s 11th Trashion Show!

Started in 2012 by Canyonlands Community Recycling, the Trashion Show has always been a fun local event for the end of wintertime/early spring in Moab. Originally hosted at the old Frankie D’s, and was similarly a DIY costume-wearing dance party with local DJ’s and prizes. Canyonlands Community Recycling as a nonprofit was a recycling education entity with the goal of sustainability, and in 2015, the board voted to rename themselves Resiliency Hub, and expand from “recycling” to the many ways that we can reuse what we have to create more abundance. The event has happened every year except for two pandemic years, ’21 and ’22, but was back last year in 2023 and this year marks the 11th Moab Trashion Show! This event is 21+!
