Join Museum staff and Curtis Walker, a local USU Grand County Extension 4-H instructor, at 9 a.m. on the Moab Museum West Lawn for a special pop-up program on the lasting legacy of Moab pioneer David M. Cooper and “jack drivers” in the American West. Walker will demonstrate the transportation utility of pack mules and burros, just as Cooper and his business partner Melvin Turner used in building the very first dugout ranch at Indian Creek.
