The Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo Club held a Rodeo Royalty contest on April 27. The winners were Madison Munger (center) as queen, Chloe Talbot (right) as attendant and Rozalyn Krist (left) as junior queen. The contestants were judged in the areas of horsemanship, speech, presentation and knowledge. The Royalty Committee would like to thank the Moab Horse Show Association, Forget Me Knot Floral and Moab Grill for sponsoring the Rodeo Royalty contest. The community is invited to the rodeo on Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1, with a special matinee performance on Sunday, June 2, at noon. The rodeo and its royalty competition would not be possible without the support of the Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo, Red Cliffs Lodge, Crump Reese Ford, Classic Air Medical, Moab Gear Trader and the Wang Corporation.
