Our bright shining super nova’s light was extinguished late Wednesday night, January 17, 2024.
Timbo was born on October 27, 1971, to Tim and Sharon Pogue. He was the youngest child and “little brother” to Russell, Mariah, and Kristian. Tim has two sons, Timothy Charles and Braxton Sawyer.
Tim radiated light and was bigger than life. He lived his life fast and furious. He was a natural musician, athlete and adventurer. He was loyal and generous—always giving the coat off his back and the only dollar in his pocket. He shared his home with anyone in need, alone or hungry. He routinely would befriend anyone struggling with the constraints of society.
Tim was charming, charismatic and rambunctious. He was inquisitive with a keen intellect, mastering any topic of intellect, mastering any topic of interest.
Tim’s life was also fraught with addiction and alcoholism, which sometimes left him alienated from mainstream society. The family’s wish in his death is for all to be kind to others struggling.
Tim’s death leaves a chasm of loss. We will miss you, our father, brother and friend.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 24 at 1 p.m. at Spanish Valley Mortuary with a viewing held one hour before services. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
