Police have been investigating the shooting death of Moab resident Edgar “Rojo” Najera at his residence on Walnut Lane on Oct. 28. Allegedly, the three men were among those who fled the area shortly after the killing occurred.
The Moab City Police Department said in a press release on Nov. 1 that the three suspects were arrested by the Navajo Nation Police Department’s Tuba City and Kayenta districts and the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Division after they led law enforcement on a 100-mile pursuit. The men had been reported to police for suspicious behavior on Oct. 31, allegedly after they tried to lure two females into their vehicle.
