Three men alleged to have fled Moab after the homicide of a Moab man on Oct. 28 have been extradited from Arizona.

The Moab City Police Department said three suspects, Irvin Martin Verduzco Armenta, Jaime Flores Solis and Jorge Hernandez, were successfully transferred on Nov. 15 from the Coconino County Detention Facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, to the Grand County Jail, where they will be held pending the adjudication of their case.

Police have been investigating the shooting death of Moab resident Edgar “Rojo” Najera at his residence on Walnut Lane on Oct. 28. Allegedly, the three men were among those who fled the area shortly after the killing occurred.

The Moab City Police Department said in a press release on Nov. 1 that the three suspects were arrested by the Navajo Nation Police Department’s Tuba City and Kayenta districts and the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Division after they led law enforcement on a 100-mile pursuit. The men had been reported to police for suspicious behavior on Oct. 31, allegedly after they tried to lure two females into their vehicle.
