U.S. Senate candidate Larry Meyers paid a visit to Moab on Friday, March 23, to meet with voters at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
Meyers, a Republican, is an attorney in St. George who previously worked as a prosecuting attorney in Washington County.
He is one of 11 GOP candidates who are challenging presumptive Republican front-runner Mitt Romney in the primary race to replace outgoing GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch. Four Democrats, a Libertarian and two other third-party candidates have also filed declarations to run for Hatch’s seat.
