Darrell Charles Eddy, 46, passed away on February 13, 2017, at University of Utah Hospital from complications due to surgery.

Darrell was born on June 14, 1970, in Moab to John Eddy and Deborah Bell. He grew up in Moab, graduating from Grand County High School, where he enjoyed playing football. He worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator for different construction companies. He married Michelle Santistevan on June 12, 2000, in Rawlins, Wyoming.

He enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, hiking, watching football, and looking for rocks and dinosaur things.

He is survived by his wife Michelle of Moab; mother Deborah (Werlyn) Randall; a brother, JC (Lori) Eddy; a sister, Rochelle (Morris) Beebe; two children; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, uncles and aunts.

At Darrell’s request, cremation has taken place and graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
