Charles E. Lenamond, 81, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016, at his home.

Charles was born on March 26, 1935, in Thornton, Texas, to Brady F. and Lena Belle Lenamond. Charles went to high school and attended two years of college in Texas. On November 29, 1956, he married Threcia C. Browning in Crane, Texas. Charles worked for years in the sour gas industry, working his way up to managing a plant; he was a consultant for the industry before his retirement.

Charles loved welding, fishing, hunting, exploring new places and meeting new people.

He is survived by his wife Threcia of Moab; two daughters, Lesa Tuhy of Dickinson, North Dakota, and Cynthia Lenamond of Moab; two sisters, Elaine Bartlett, and DeAnna Respondik; and one grandchild, Charles Matthew Lenamond.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Larry, Parker, Mary and George.

At Charles’ request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
