Helen M. Knight’s November Student of the Month is Griffin Shannon. He is a sixth grader in Rebecca Scheu’s class. His parents are Wes and Christie Shannon.
Mrs. Scheu nominated Shannon as the student of the month because he is an all-around great person.
“Griffin is the student that every teacher wants to have in their classroom,” said Scheu. “His sense of humor and friendliness makes everyone enjoy him. Griffin is constantly giving his best effort in class and home assignments.”
Scheu said that “being respectful and conscientious” comes to mind when one thinks of Shannon.
“We are so lucky to have him in our community,” she said.
