Moab has always been home to world-class climbers, ultra-marathoners, and mountain bikers who make gravity their side hustle. But this week, the spotlight falls on a different kind of competitor: Christian Duran, Moab’s newly crowned taco-eating champion.
According to Bega Metzner, director of the Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission, filming will require closing Main Street from 100 North to 100 South, as well as Center Street from Main to South 100 East, from 5:00 a.m. to around noon. The production has requested no overnight parking on Tuesday, July 29 to prepare for the early morning shoot.
