Gallery Moab is featuring the work of Charlotte Quigley throughout December, presenting a special exhibition of plein air paintings she created as the 2025 Community Artist in the Parks for Southeast Utah’s national parks with an opening on Saturday, December 6.
Moab author Michael Engelhard will discuss his new book about Nome, Alaska, at the Moab Arts Center on November 14 at 5 p.m.
“It’s incredible that 50 years later, we’re able to honor the history of agriculture in Grand County, and that this land is still being used to feed our community,” Jade Valdez, YGP’s coordinator, said. “It goes to show the hard work and dedication that has gone into sustaining Moab’s passion for local grown foods for so many generations.”
This year adds a full day of workshops distributed throughout Moab on Saturday, letting two-day pass holders create their own “build your own reset” experience before Sunday’s concerts.
According to Bega Metzner, director of the Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission, filming will require closing Main Street from 100 North to 100 South, as well as Center Street from Main to South 100 East, from 5:00 a.m. to around noon. The production has requested no overnight parking on Tuesday, July 29 to prepare for the early morning shoot.

Michael Paul’s solo exhibition “The Maze and Me” is on view at the Moab Arts Center Gallery through June 28. The show features intricate maze-based artworks that combine bold visual design with interactive elements.
The Last Page Book Shop & Juice Bar quietly opened in early May and celebrated its official ribbon-cutting with the Moab Chamber of Commerce this week. Owner Jasmin Atwood said opening a bookstore and sharing “how magical books can be with other people” had been a dream for years. The restored 112-year-old building at 55 E. 100 South spoke to her when she saw it listed as a commercial property.
On the evening of April 2, viewers in Star Hall laughed and cheered as they watched the very building they were sitting in projected onto the big screen. Everyone was gathered to celebrate and view the film debut of Navajo Highways, supported by the Utah Film Commission, the Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission, and First Nations Experience.
