Dear Editor,
I would like to ask Moab voters to join me in voting for the Rural County Health Care Facilities Sales Tax. Moab’s Canyonlands Care Center provides a convenient and caring environment for our family members who require professional care. If this tax fails to pass, the Care Center will suffer financially and possibly be forced to close, leaving the nearest residential facility in Grand Junction. I can attest to the fact that having my mother here in Moab allowed for ease in regular visitation and provided a professional and compassionate staff that met her needs as well as gave me easy access to staff when emergencies arose. Please vote yes on Proposition 3.
