Julian Sanchez, September 28, 1963 – November 26, 2016

Julian H. Sanchez, 53, was born on September 28, 1963, in Monticello, Utah, to Charlie E. Sanchez and Delores E. Vigil. Julian returned to his heavenly father on November 26, 2016.

Julian was raised in Moab and later moved to Salt Lake City, where he attended Salt Lake Community College and studied Computer Science. He met Amy Sanchez, the mother of his only son Robert Sanchez and two stepsons Nate and Joe. Julian had a big heart and loved his family and made friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by many. Julian had a way with the ladies and loved his radio and listening to all types of music. Julian also liked the Buffalo Bills.

Julian is survived by his son Robert (Gina) Sanchez; stepsons Nathan and Joseph Sanchez; brothers Manuel (Carolyn) Sanchez and Bill (Kim) Sanchez; mother Delores Vigil and special nephew Mikey Gallegos; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Sanchez, and brother Jerry Cosme Sanchez.

Friends and family can visit during a viewing at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 122 W. 400 North in Moab on Sunday, December 4, at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 5, at 10 a.m., with a potluck lunch to follow. Donations for funeral services can be made to the Julian Sanchez Memorial Account at Mountain America Credit Union.
