Bryan Lingle with Garlett Construction works on interior wood trim for windows and doors for a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home under construction at the White Horse neighborhood on April 13. Project developer Mark Griffith said this is the fifth single-family home completed at the subdivision in the past year, and that the majority of homeowners are year-round residents. Griffith said he attributes the growing popularity of the homes to their high-end finishes and the impressive views of Spanish Valley and the Moab Rim, as well as to green-building practices like passive-solar, energy-efficient heating and cooling, and nontoxic paint and finishes. Finished homes on half-acre sites range from $480,000 to $700,000.
