Dear Editor,
On behalf of the students and staff of Grand County High School, I want to thank Moab Shopko and the Shopko Foundation for their generous donation of $2,500 given to the high school as part of the grand opening of the Moab Shopko store. The community and businesses of Moab continue to support Grand County High School in so many facets. Moab Shopko is to be commended for its generous support.
Grand County High School, being part of the Grand County School District community, believed it was fitting to use some of Shopko’s donation to “pay it forward.” Therefore, GCHS will share part of the donation with Grand County Middle School and Helen M. Knight Elementary.
Again, thank you Moab Shopko for becoming part of our community and supporting Grand County High School.
