Dear Editor,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to give the Grand County Council a great big thank you for voting to join the Seven County Coalition.
I know that you have been getting a lot of feedback from the vocal minority. It seems that if they don’t get their way, they have to throw a temper tantrum and write a lot of letters to the editor.
But the silent majority, who are too busy trying to make a living and take care of their families and don’t have the energy or time to write letters or attend meetings, thanks you for your vote and for standing up to the special interest groups who are against anything that doesn’t fit into their worldview. They try to shout down anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
Thank you for not being intimidated.
