Stephen Vaccaro is the Moab Valley Fire Department’s 2017 Firefighter of the Year. Vaccaro, a 35-year-old Moab native, has been with the department for about three years. He and his wife, Lindsey Vaccaro, have two girls, ages 7 and 2. When he isn’t on duty, Vaccaro enjoys camping, hunting and spending time with his family.
