Grand County Middle School students will have orientation on Thursday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lockers and schedules will be given out upon a copy of a paid fee receipt, according to Grand County Middle School officials.
For 7th graders, proof of immunizations will also be required.
Students and at least one parent or guardian are required to attend a session of orientation, but if for some reason they are unable to attend the scheduled session, they will need to schedule an appointment with the principal for a make-up time.
Grand County Middle School students and parents are to use the following schedule for orientation sessions on Aug. 9:
For 7th grade students:
8 – 9 a.m. (last name starting) A-F
9 – 10 a.m. G-L
10 – 11 a.m. M-R

The middle school’s office will be open starting on Aug. 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families may come in to pay fees (and bring in immunization records, if necessary) at any time before school starts on Aug. 16.
Please note, the Grand County Middle School does not have a card reader so cash or a check will be needed for fee payments.
For students in need of a fee waiver, please be prepared to show the last three (work-related) check stubs, or last year’s tax return form.
