Skydive Moab, host of a Sisters In Skydiving (SIS) event, attempted to set a record over the weekend of Aug. 25 in the skies over Grand County. SIS members Alayna Leduc, Jessica Maviano, Ashley Peterson, Estella Brown, Tammy Nguyen, Taylor Webb and Mandie Morgan built a seven-way, all-female, formation skydive. Skydive Moab said the formation is a feat that, until now, had not been attempted in the state of Utah. The jump has been submitted by United States Parachutist Judge Jenifer Gordon for review and is currently pending.
