Seventh-grade students at Grand County Middle School gathered in front of history and ESL teacher Richard Reynolds’ graffiti-covered Jeep. As part of studying ancient Utah history, Reynolds challenged his classes to maintain above an “A” average score on their Utah history quizzes. In return, he said they would be able to stencil and paint color schemes ranging from ancient rock art forms to modern-day graffiti, on his white Jeep. With the help and direction of art teacher Alina Murdock, the challenge was met, and the students went to work on the Jeep.
