Helen M. Knight Elementary School honored seven students as its January Students of the Month.
The honorees include kindergartener Brielle Key, first-grader Desmond Dial, second-grader Olivia Elwell, third-grader Lelli May, fourth-grader Sam Wright, fifth-grader Lily Davis, and sixth-grader Evelyn Knight.
Principal Holly Harris and Assistant Principal Libby Bailey presented the awards, which recognize students who demonstrate outstanding character and academic effort.
