The luxury train company Rocky Mountaineer is venturing further into Utah with an extended version of its ‘Rockies to the Red Rocks’ route. The route, which launched in 2021, brings travelers from Denver over the Rocky Mountains to Moab on a specialty train complete with lounge cars and deluxe amenities.

Next April, travelers will be able to extend their trip to three days, traveling to Salt Lake City after a night’s stay in Moab. Officials with the Rocky Mountaineer said they plan to operate the route weekly, catering to travelers in both directions.

Trip prices start at $2,123 per guest for the three-day trip, including hotel stays in Moab and Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
