The Grand County High School girls tennis team defeated San Juan and Gunnison Valley in a regional double-header on September 5, winning both matches with scores of 3-2, 3-2.
Paya Maughan won in 1st singles; Kimber McCandless won in 2nd singles; and Mackenzie Butler and Quinn Potts in 1st doubles against San Juan.
Paya Maughan again won 1st singles; Mackenzie Butler and Quinn Potts won in 1st doubles; and Rosee Thomas and Holly Hazelett won in 2nd doubles against Gunnison Valley.
After these matches, the Lady Red Devils team are 3-1 in region play and 3-2 overall. Go Red Devils!
