Brian Keith Engstrom, 57, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2023, at his family home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brian had a great love of the outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, and rockhounding, which was in his blood. His knowledge of Moab and its surroundings surpassed many and is where he spent most of his life. Rock and Roll music was a big part of his life also, as shown by the many concerts he attended. His knowledge of music was so extensive if you ever played “Name that Tune” with him, you probably lost.
His blue eyes and his long thick blond wavy locks were his best assets and what he was known for, along with that boyish charming smile.
Brian will be forever loved and missed by his father, Rick Engstrom; mother, Donna Walker-Oviatt (MC, deceased); his daughter, Breanna Engstrom (Paul Roark); grandson, Gunner; sisters, Stephanie Engstrom (Niece McKenzie), and Tracy Engstrom-Van De Walker (John); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends will forever remember him.
He was predeceased by both his grandparents, Clarence & Betty Engstrom as well as
Jack & Helen Walker.
Brian’s celebration of life will be held on September 16 in Moab at an exact location to be later determined. Details will be announced on his, Stephanie’s or Breanna’s Facebook profile.
