Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School
This month’s students of the month at Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School are Oakley Ricks and Danika Ewer!
Teachers say that seventh-grade student Oakley Ricks is helpful and compassionate towards students and the school staff. Oakley is very involved in school activities and is engaged in her lessons. Every day, she impresses teachers with her confidence, kindness, and bright outlook on life! Oakley is left-handed and her favorite color is blue. She plays the Ukulele and likes to make key chains. Oakley travels a lot and she likes to fidget. Her advice to her fellow classmates is: “Become friends with your teachers!” Eighth-grader Danika Ewer goes above and beyond in the classroom, teachers report. She is an attentive student who takes pride in her work, and is a great example to her peers. Danika has a calming influence on those around her. She is a voice of reason and has volunteered to help others who are less able. Danika has a lizard named Eva and her favorite color is sage green. She loves to play soccer and likes to draw. Danika wants to travel the world and work as a mental health therapist someday. Her advice to others? “Progress leads to great success!”
Congratulations, Oakley and Danika!
