Hello and meow everyone! It’s me, Cosmo the Library Cat again. School’s out and it’s time to have some summer fun! This week, I wanted to tell you about the Children’s Drop-In Programs going on at Grand County Public Library. No sign-up is necessary, you can just show up on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. from now through July 28.
On “Take and Make Tuesdays,” we get creative with ocean-themed crafts. On “Wind Down Wednesdays,” we chill out with coloring and puzzles, and on “Think and Link Thursdays” we work on ocean-themed building challenges with legos or other materials. On Take and Make Tuesday last week, I helped make a couple of really cute paper fish! I do not recommend chewing on them, however. I learned the hard way that paper fish do not taste as good as they look. Bleah! Summer is a busy time, but we’d all love to have you drop in for some fun. If you come early enough, kids can even eat lunch at the Kid’s Cafe beforehand (Kid’s Cafe meals are served every day from 12:30-1:30 p.m.). Until next week, friends!
