The National Guard brought a climbing wall to the Grand County High School’s career fair on Thursday, April 11, in conjunction with mid-term conferences. Carrie Strecker, the high school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) career pathway advisor, said over 25 businesses and organizations participated. Strecker said the event was sponsored by the high school’s CTE program, which focuses on providing students a chance to learn about possible careers and post-secondary options. She said the school hopes to include parents and family in this process by combining it with conferences.
