Employees at Moab-area businesses are preparing for the return of travelers and some, like Sydne Smythe (seated), participated in a customer service training on Friday, March 15. The training was held at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center with trainer Brad Anderson (standing). Moab Area Travel Council Executive Director Elaine Gizler said 145 people signed up for training in one of the four sessions offered over two days. “We have had an amazing turnout for this two-day event,” Gizler said at the event on Friday. “The goal is to help the employees who are on the front line meeting the visitors.” Smythe works at The Synergy Company in Moab.
