Race like a superhero

Jordan Ricks (right) picked up his race packet information from Canyon Voyages’ volunteers and staff like Deb Klaes (left) who helped to organize the Moab Red Hot 33k and 55k races. Held on Feb. 16, the race course through northwest Moab began at the Gemini Bridges parking lot near U.S. Highway 191 and finished at the Gold Bar Campground. This year’s event included guest speaker Camille Herron from Warr Acres, Oklahoma, who holds the Guinness World Record for racing a marathon in a Superhero costume, running 2:48:51 dressed as Spiderwoman.
