The Grand County School District is hosting the Second Annual Youth Voices Speak Out on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Youth Voices Speak Out is a community forum on prevention, well-being and resiliency. The event will feature information on mental health, substance abuse and bullying from the school district’s school-based therapists, as well as tips and tools for parents.
Additionally, there will be performances by students at Helen M. Knight Elementary, Grand County Middle School and Grand County High School.
Anti-bullying, substance abuse and suicide prevention videos from students will also be aired with prizes awarded for the winning videos.
The Youth Voices Speak Out forum is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Grand County High School auditorium, 680 S. 400 East. The Grand County School District welcomes all students, parents and community members to attend the event.
